This is the inaugural piece in captivating series of small-scale canvases by Artist Jalu.
 
The creation process unfolds in four stages, beginning with a mesmerizing blend of pink hues of acrlic paint poured onto the 8 x 10 canvas.

Next, an afro-centric profile emergers, boldly outlines with a black acrylic pen. The third stage brings the artwork to life with the addition of sparkling pink and black rhinestones tracing the facial features.
Finally, shimmering pink lame fabric is literally built on to canvas, one row at times becomes the helmet on the image to provide a striking finishing touch, evoking a sense of regality and strength.
